Today in History…On May 18, 1896, the Supreme Court ruled separate-but-equal facilities constitutional on intrastate railroads. For some fifty years, the Plessy v. Ferguson decision upheld the principle of racial segregation. Across the country, laws mandated separate accommodations on buses and trains, and in hotels, theaters, and schools.

Calling all boys interested in participating in our Bump Set Spike lunchtime volleyball tournament! All teams must be signed up by TODAY in room 52 to play in next week’s tournament! –Sullivan

 

It’s not too late to sign up for our last Blood Drive of the year! You can pick up and turn in forms in room 52 or the office TODAY to donate Monday May 21st! –Sullivan

 

Juniors and sophomores who will be employed for the fall semester 2018 can sign up for WORK EXPERIENCE with Mrs. Torres in the Library.

If you bought a white feminist society t-shirt and want to tie dye it, stop by Ms. Fosters during Super Saturday on May 19th from 8:30 – 11:30 am! It’s quick, easy, and fun! –Foster

 

If you are taking AP Government in the fall, come to Room 8 to see Ms. Foster for your summer homework TODAY in PAWS, at lunch or after school.

 

Students who are taking English 10XL next year, please pick up your Summer Work Packets in Room E10, TODAY May 18th. –Fero

 

Attention all students taking AP Chemistry next year, please come to room 28 at lunch on Tuesday,  May 22ND to pick up your summer assignment and textbook! See you then. –Lee

 

Attention all boys basketball players.  We will have a pre-summer meeting on Wednesday May 23rd in the gym to discuss the summer schedule.  Please make sure you show up so you have all the information.  -Coach Kamman

 

**SENIORS**

PROM TICKET SALES END TODAY! Seniors, come to room 52 with $90 cash or card during lunch today to purchase your prom ticket so you can enjoy the last celebration of your senior year with your friends! NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD NEXT WEEK DUE TO SENIOR TRIP!

 

Seniors! Your MANDATORY Senior Trip meeting is Monday, May 21st in the gym at lunch. Arrive quickly to receive crucial information regarding senior trip and receive your Senior Trip shirt. If you miss this meeting without speaking to Ms. Sullivan this week, you will not be able to go on the trip. See you there! –Sullivan

 

Seniors! Do you need your final transcript sent to the college you will be attending in the fall?

Please follow these instructions: Pick up a final transcript request form from the registrar’s office.

Fill out the form completely. Check your email from the college for the admissions address. 

Complete a mailing envelope (9 ½ x 4) including the mailing address and postage stamp.  

Return the Final Transcript Request Form and completed envelope to Mrs. Lukehart no later than May 31st.  Make sure you are not on the debt list. Debts must be cleared before your transcript will be sent! Transcripts are not automatically sent to colleges, you must request it!

See Mrs. Lukehart if you have questions.  

 

SENIOR ATHLETES – Do you need to have your transcript sent to the NCAA?

Pick up the NCAA final transcript request form from the registrar’s office.

Fill out the form completely including your NCAA ID# and return to Mrs. Lukehart no later than May 31st.  Make sure you are not on the debt list. Debts must be cleared before your transcript will be sent! Transcripts are not automatically sent to the NCAA, you must request it!
